We do not offer returns or refunds. We offer exchanges only, and exclusively where the fault is ours — this includes items that arrive damaged, defective or incorrect.
To be eligible for an exchange:
- The issue must be reported to us within 48 hours of delivery
- The item must be unused, unworn and unwashed
- The item must be in its original condition with tags and packaging intact
- The fault must be on our end — damage, defect or incorrect item sent
- Custom-made products and sale items are not eligible for exchange under any circumstances
To initiate an exchange, email us at support@dunuwa.com within 48 hours of receiving your order with:
- Your full name
- Order number
- Description of the fault or issue
- Clear photographs of the item and packaging
Our team will review your request and respond within 2 business days. Please note that we do not cover return shipping costs — the logistics of sending the item back to us are the responsibility of the customer. Once we receive and assess the item, we will dispatch your replacement.
We do not offer exchanges for change of mind, incorrect sizing or unwanted items. Exchanges are only available where the fault is ours - damaged, defective or incorrect items.
Damaged or incorrect items
We sincerely apologise if your order arrives less than perfect. Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@dunuwa.com with:
- Your full name
- Order number
- Description of the issue
- Clear photographs of the item and packaging
Our team will review your request within 2 business days and arrange a replacement where the fault is confirmed on our end. Please note that we do not offer refunds - resolutions are provided in the form of a replacement only.
We do not cover return shipping costs. Logistics of returning the item to our Ibadan studio are the responsibility of the customer.
- DÙNÚWÀ does not accept returns. Items sent back without prior written confirmation from our team will not be processed and cannot be refunded or exchanged.
- Exchanges are only considered where the fault is confirmed on our end — damaged, defective or incorrect items only.
- All exchange requests must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery. Requests made after this window will not be eligible regardless of the issue.
- DÙNÚWÀ does not cover return shipping costs. The logistics and cost of returning an item to our studio in Ibadan, Nigeria are entirely the responsibility of the customer.
- We strongly recommend using a trackable courier when returning an item. DÙNÚWÀ cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit on the way back to us.
- Items returned without clear photographs submitted at the time of the exchange request may not be eligible for resolution.
- Custom-made and made-to-order pieces are not eligible for exchange unless they arrive damaged, defective or incorrect through our fault.
- Sale items are not eligible for exchange under any circumstances.
- DÙNÚWÀ reserves the right to assess all exchange requests and decline those that do not meet the conditions outlined in this policy.
